Victorious at the 12 Hours of Sebring at the beginning of the season, Hugues de Chaunac’s team has been selected by TMG to partner its Le Mans programme.

As winners of the 12 Hours of Sebring in March, Team ORECA-Matmut was making its return to the United States for the Petit Le Mans. Alongside two Peugeot 908 and in front of two Audi R18, the objective of reaching the podium put forth by Hugues de Chaunac was a challenging one. In front of a crowd that always gives them a warm welcome, the team wanted to shine on the Road Atlanta track.

Leaders at the third way mark, the team has been running in third since the fourth hour. The drivers of the No. 10 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP are attacking to widen the gap to their closest competitors.

After three hours of racing, Nicolas Lapierre, Nicolas Minassian and Marc Gené have had an error-free run to maintain third place, behind Team Peugeot Total and Audi Sport !

The team reached its goal during qualifying : be in the top 5 with the two Peugeot 908s and two Audi R18s. Nicolas Lapierre, Nicolas Minassian and Marc Gené are satisfied with the work done and with the handling of the No. 10 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP.
