THE CONCEPT

Organised in the offseason, the Winter Series allows teams and drivers to keep the rythym or prepare for the coming season. The Winter Series sees a wide variety of competition. From prototypes (Radical, Norma, FLM, etc.) to sedans (Supercopa, Megane Trophy, etc.) in addition to the GTs, this three-round series is open to all. Up to four drivers may be on a squad, allowing for teams to test a maximum of drivers.

In partnership with the Paul Ricard HTTT, ORECA offers more driving days (three in 2011) under a « competition » format but in the « club » spirit so liked by our English neighbors. The Winter Series renews the concept of concentrated running time at a reasonable cost. With more than four and a half hours of running time (2h00 practice, 45 min qualifying, two 30 min. races and one 45 min race), competitors have time to prepare for the coming season, test their new car or test a potential new driver.
