Four hours into the race, the #48 ORECA 03 driven by Alexandre Prémat, Dominik Kraihamer and David Hallyday are leading the LMP2 class. Five stints in a row for Alexandre Prémat and nearly four hours behind the wheel!

The Team ORECA-Matmut Peugeot 908 HDi FAP is in the fight behind the three Peugeot 908s and the two Audi R18s after four stints for Nicolas Lapierre.

Nicolas Lapierre, Loïc Duval and Olivier Panis will start the 24 Hours of Le Mans in seventh position. At the end of qualifying, the Team ORECA-Matmut driving squad is satisfied with the handling of the #10 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP.

In the hands of Alexandre Prémat, David Hallyday and Dominik Kraihamer, the #48 ORECA 03 will start Saturday’s race from the third row in LMP2. Team ORECA-Matmut completed its practice program without encountering a single problem.

The three ORECA 03s taking part in the 79th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans obtained a solid result during qualifying. For its debut at La Sarthe, the prototype designed and built in Signes came away with the pole position in LMP2 thanks to the Signatech-Nissan team with Soheil Ayari behind the wheel.

As is tradition, the big Le Mans 24 Hours week started with the official Pesage at the Place des Jacobins. Scrutineering was an opportunity for the drivers to meet the fans for the first time at this classic event. Despite uncooperative weather, passionate fans showed their support.
