ORECA became a constructor in 2008. This was a new product addition made available through the introduction of the Formula Le Mans in 2009: a single-type series that allows drivers and teams to get into sporstcar racing with a true Le Mans prototype and is now an integrated part of the Le Mans Series and ALMS. Meanwhile, the ORECA 01 took to the track in the top class, fi nishing 4th and 5th in the last two Le Mans 24 Hours. The latest creation, the ORECA 03 will be making its debut in LMP2 this year, benefi ting from an upgraded customer service program.

Team Signatech-Nissan, with its trio Mailleux/Ordoñez/Vernay, concluded its great season with a win at the 6 Hours of Zhuhai, final round of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup. After starting from the pole position, the team completed a flawless race to give the ORECA 03 another victory.
New Silicon Tech/Dempsey Racing Collaboration to Contest Full 2012 American Le Mans Series (ALMS) Season
The ORECA 03 is about to finish its first trip around the world. After stints in North America and Europe, the car will be making its first appearance in Asia during the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup finale. Crowned « Teams » champion at Petit Le Mans, the Signatech-Nissan team will be hoping to finish out its good season on a high note.
In LMPC, the finish went down to the wire with the ORECA-FLM 09 of PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports driven by Lewis/Richard/Dobson coming out on top. After battling nearly every lap for 300 laps, the Intersport Racing team, composed of Marcelli/Ducote/Drissi missed out by just 172 thousandths ! Third in the race, Jeannette/Gonzalez take the American Le Mans Series title, tied with Eric Lux (Genoa Racing) who finished fourth.
