Endurance LMP1
For its first year partnered with Peugeot, the Team ORECA-Matmut took the Le Mans Series three championships: Drivers, Team and Constructor. Hugues de Chaunac’s men enter the 2011 season with the same car, the 908 HDi FAP, driven by Nicolas Lapierre and Loïc Duval in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup.
For this international campaign, the Team ORECA-Matmut decided to stay with a proven weapon in terms of its technical package. With the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP, the team benefits from having a successful prototype that they know well. The drivers, also part of the successful team last year, will be able to ease back into a familiar cockpit: the fastest race lap in the 2010 Le Mans 24 Hours and their performance in the Le Mans Series are proof. As a result, the team will attack 2011 with the pedal to the metal.
